The MT355 is a substantial step up from smaller compact tractors, with 55 horsepower, strong loader and hitch capacity, higher PTO output, and your choice of gear or hydrostatic operation depending on configuration. The right fit still depends on terrain, implement width, livestock chores, loader hours, mowing time, snow work, and how often you use the tractor.

55 horsepower on the MT3E platform

The LS MT355 family uses a 55-horsepower LS L3C19-T Tier 4 diesel and delivers 44.0 to 46.7 PTO horsepower depending on configuration. With four-wheel drive, independent 540-RPM PTO, hydrostatic power steering, and 2,910 pounds of published hitch lift at the hitch ends, it is built for heavier mowing, grading, tillage, loader work, snow removal, and farm chores.

 

The MT355E uses a synchro-shuttle / constant-mesh transmission with 8 forward and 8 reverse speeds, while the MT355HE adds the convenience of a dual-pedal 3-range hydrostatic transmission with cruise control. Standard equipment includes tilt steering, a fender-mounted loader joystick, foldable ROPS, hydraulic position control, a drawbar, adjustable seat, rubber floor mat, and your choice of Ag, Industrial, or Turf tires subject to dealer inventory.

55-HP LS diesel

The three-cylinder L3C19-T Tier 4 diesel produces 55 gross horsepower and 44.0–46.7 PTO horsepower at 2,600 RPM, giving the MT355 strong power for loader work and larger PTO-driven implements.

The MT355 is compatible with LS LL4105 and LL4002 front-end loaders and provides substantial material-handling capacity for gravel, soil, feed, firewood, landscaping material, and snow.

Gear or 3-range HST

The MT355E uses an 8F × 8R synchro-shuttle / constant-mesh transmission. The MT355HE provides dual-pedal 3-range hydrostatic operation with cruise control for easy speed changes during loader and property work.

Four-wheel drive, hydrostatic power steering, tilt steering, foldable ROPS, a fender-mounted loader joystick, adjustable seating, and an easy-open one-piece hood support productive workdays and routine maintenance.
