Start with the property — not the horsepower
The MT357 is built for owners who need more PTO horsepower, hydraulic capacity, hitch strength, and all-day capability than a smaller compact tractor can comfortably provide. The right fit still depends on terrain, implement width, livestock chores, loader hours, mowing time, snow work, cab preference, and how often you use the tractor.
The acreage ranges shown here are practical shopping guidance, not manufacturer operating limits.
An excellent fit for frequent loader work, larger rotary cutters, grading, livestock chores, tillage, food plots, firewood, snow removal, and year-round property improvement.
A strong choice when 57 horsepower, up to 48.4 PTO horsepower, Category II implements, standard rear remotes, and cab availability matter for regular farm and acreage work.
The MT357 can still be a highly useful chore and utility tractor on larger properties, but wider field implements, high-hour production work, or heavier material handling may make an MT4 or larger LS utility tractor worth comparing.
57 horsepower on the premium MT3 platform
The LS MT357 uses a 57-horsepower L3C19-T Tier 4 turbocharged common-rail diesel and delivers 45.6 to 48.4 PTO horsepower depending on configuration. The MT357 platform combines four-wheel drive, hydrostatic power steering, an independent 540-RPM rear PTO, position-and-draft control, and a Category II three-point hitch with 2,755 pounds of published lift at the hitch ends.
Depending on configuration, the MT357 is available with a synchro-shuttle gear transmission or 3-range hydrostatic transmission, and in ROPS or cab form. Standard equipment includes two front remote-valve pairs and two rear remote-valve pairs with detent, extendable lower links, a fender-mounted loader joystick, tilt steering, rear work light, drawbar, 7-pin connector, flat operator platform, and adjustable seating.
One tractor, four seasons
With 57 horsepower, up to 48.4 PTO horsepower, up to 15.0 GPM total hydraulic flow in hydro-cab configuration, and a 2,755-pound Category II hitch, the MT357 is built for serious acreage, livestock, loader, PTO, and four-season work.
Build it around your work
Tell us about your acreage and the jobs on your list. We’ll help configure an MT357 around the transmission, ROPS or cab platform, loader, grapple, backhoe, mower, tiller, grading, snow, and hydraulic work you actually plan to do.
